Lunch Time Fun...

Lunch time with toddlers is always funny, but lunch time with a set of triplet toddlers is hilarious. Today for lunch the girls had chicken, peas and beets. Which one of those sounds messiet to you??? Well if you didn't guess it's the BEETS!! Oh my gosh, I'm pretty sure the girls think they were made to paint with. Olivia was the messiest, that girl could care less how covered in food she is, until you try to clean her up that is. She took those beets and stuck her fingers through them and then used the juice/beet mush to paint herself. That was after she bit into a juicy one and I looked back and she had red/pink juice flowing from her mouth and down her chest. She needed a new diaper just because it was soaked in beet juice. Rachel on the other hand really didn't want much to do with any of the food. I mean she ate, but most of it went to the dogs. I swear those dogs get fed better than most. They're are like mini dirt devils. Anything that hits the floor is gone in 2.5 seconds. Victoria was the cleanest, not that that is surprising she's always the cleanest. She's always eating with her fork or spoon and sometimes she won't eat until she has one. Well, most of them won't eat until the have a utensil, but that doesn't mean they always use them. Olivia will have a spoonful of oatmeal in one hand and a handful of oatmeal in the other. I guess the spoon just isn't good enough.
This morning was fun too. The girls played so much they didn't even notice when movie time rolled by. (They get 30 minutes of tv time before nap.) Well, to be honest I didn't notice when movie time rolled by either. It's a good thing I guess because that means they were having fun and were engaged in activities. It's been so nice lately we barely play inside at all. (knock on wood) We played in the back and we played on the front porch. They rode little tike bikes and splashed in the dew. They played on the slide and read a lot of books. And one time I turned around and Rachel had my long sleeve t-shirt on that I wore this morning because it was cold. She was too funny. This shirt looked like a floor length dress on her. I rolled the sleeves all the way up to her shoulders so she could move, it looked like a dress you would see on someone in Pride&Prejudice, poofy sleeves and all. She was adorable, and she left it on for like 10 minutes.
This weekend there was a festival down on the riverfront and I went with my mom and cousin Friday through Sunday. I only went down for like an hour on Friday, but Saturday I was there from 10am til 10pm it was crazy. I have never seen that many people there before, but it was ridiculously nice out so I wasn't surprised. Even Heather, Matt and the girls came down and Heather said she would never go again, but when it's so nice outside you can't just stay at home. Heather said they walked around for a few hours, but they never saw me and I never saw them, they saw everyone else they know though. She even called when they got down there, but my stupid phone missed it for some crazy reason. Oh well, I see the girls 5 days a week. :D I had fun and even met a wonderful lady who makes soaps. REALLY GOOD SOAP. She makes it all herself and it's all natural. It's already helped with my eczema and I'm hoping that it will help with Olivia's too. At first I told her oh I don't use anything but Dove because everything else bothers me I told her how bad my skin gets in the winter and she said you know what here take this bar try it and tell me what you think. Then I was telling her about Olivia and she said here's a bar for her as well tell me if it helps. Well, it's amazing!!! If you want to buy any or check it out because you're looking for great soaps, lotions or bath bombs check Anita, soapmaker, at www.planbsoap.com. She really does make the best soap and it's great for you. I won't use anything else.
