I can't believe it...

I can't believe I've been a nanny for a whole month. The family and I get along really well, I've known the mom for over 12 years and her husband since she met him practically, so I'm not surprised we get along. What's surprising to me is that I felt like I'd been here for forever after about the first week because I clicked so well with the job, but I still can't believe that I've been here for a month. Already in just one month the girls have learned so much! They've learned how to do all of their puzzles, they can point to pictures in books when you ask them, and they're really started to answer questions as long they're "yes" or "no" questions. Rory still loves to go through the bookcase just to show you all the fish. Rachel is really good at pointing to pictures. It seems like any day Olivia is just going to spit out whole sentences. The BEST part of my job is watching them learn, and knowing that in some way I helped them learn that! Helping someone learn brings joy that is hard to match.
